I am an ex 23 year old smoker who kicked the habit of a pack a day with the help of electronic cigarettes. My passion for this wonderful invention has fueled me to help others in their journey to quit. The idea of the VapeTeam was formed by joining forces from within the vaping community to cover topics on innovation, social as well as legal aspects that concern our present and future lifestyle. My main focus is new to fairly new vapers and maintain a video diary that chronicles my vaping journey as well as giving honest and precise opinions on accesories and devices! |

I was a smoker for 8 years and I had quit for 6 years. I had a urge to pick up smoking again and had bought and smoked several packs before realized why I had quit the disgusting habit. I had a friend recommend vaping to me and did some research and purchased and received a kit on September 10, 2008. I took my first vape and never touch a analogs ever again. Vaping has been a huge influence in my life and I enjoy meeting new vapers and helping them in the best way that I can. I also love to stay up with all the new devices that come out and enjoy learning about them and collecting the ones that I find unique. |

I had my first cigarette when I was 16, but really started smoking when I got to college at age 18.  Before the end of Sophomore year I was over a pack a day and it was starting to negatively affect my health.  I quit smoking for about 9 months using various methods including the patch and lozenges, but went back to smoking.  One day in the summer of 2009 my Dad handed me an NJOY super mini and said take a puff, I immediately was in love.  I was on and off analogs through a series of kits including 801s and M401s before I got my first Screwdriver MKII in March of 2010.  From that point on my mod collection grew and my involvement in the community increased.  It’s been a wild ride, but I’m happy to be here. |

I smoked for over 20 years – the last 15 of those years attempting to quit …. multiple TIMES AND FAILING.  After my last attempt with “approved cessation” and adverse effects from Chantix – I quit trying to quit smoking.  I gave up, convinced I’d die a smoker.  I picked up an e-cigarette June of 2009 in a half-hearted attempted to cut back on what had become a 4+ pack-a-day habit. Within 3 months I was tobacco free. The results?I have lost 65 pounds, I no longer have to take diabetic medication to control my blood sugars, I my breathing has improved greatly! Yes I know and acknowledge the risks involved with e-cigarettes – not everything is known about the long term effects….. but I still CHOOSE – the E-cigarette over Smoking! I choose a reduced harm approach. Some groups and advocates need to go beyond the confines of their ivory tower ideology and start talking to the people they are supposedly trying to help.  People who live in the real world, one in which existing smoking cessation products are highly ineffective.  One in which electronic cigarettes are filling a void by offering an alternative that replaces the behavioral and physical stimuli of cigarette smoking, not just the pharmacologic reinforcement.  E-cigs are a life-saver for those of us who have repeatedly tried to quit smoking without any success. |
